Concrete Polishing Technician
Location: West Valley City, UT

Schedule: Full-time | Occasional weekends and early mornings may be required
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Polishing Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on mechanical concrete polishing and surface refinement for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, maintains clean and professional jobsites, and understands the importance of delivering high-quality finished floors.
Experience with concrete polishing is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic and construction background.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical concrete polishing using planetary grinders and polishing equipment
Prepare concrete surfaces through grinding, honing, and polishing processes
Apply densifiers, sealers, and guard products as required
Repair surface imperfections such as minor spalling, pinholes, and joint defects
Operate grinders, vacuums, burnishers, and related equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain neat, clean, and professional jobsites at all times
Protect surrounding areas and finished surfaces during polishing operations
Communicate with crew leads and management regarding job progress and conditions
Load, unload, and maintain polishing tools and equipment
Follow company quality standards and safety procedure
Schedule Requirements
Full-time position
Occasional weekends may be required based on project schedules
Early mornings or extended hours may be necessary for commercial work
Qualifications
Experience with concrete polishing, grinding, or surface prep preferred
Construction, flooring, or coatings background a plus
Strong attention to detail and pride in finished appearance
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
Comfortable working on feet for extended periods
Valid driver’s license preferred
Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
